Decorative Tiles - Using Vinyl Letter Lettering

If ever there was an inexpensive way to add a personal touch to a room in your home, decorative tiles are it! Take a simple ceramic tile, 12” x 12”, add some vinyl lettering, and voila! You have a perfect accent piece for any room in your home.

Besides using decorative tiles for home décor, they make inexpensive, yet elegant gifts. In fact, for Christmas gifts we gave our family and friends 6” x 6” decorative tiles with Gordon B. Hinckley’s “9 B’s” which we designed, and sell on our site (pictured above).

Another advantage of using vinyl lettering to create decorative tiles is that you can customize them any way you like. Any design you can conceive can be created quickly, and inexpensively using vinyl lettering.

With the numerous choices as to color, style, texture, and size available for ceramic tiles, you can make a decorative tile to match any décor. Factor in the low cost, and it makes decorative tiles a wise choice for home décor, or gift ideas.

  4. No, clear vinyl over the top is not necessary. Gloss vinyl can be used which has a shiny finish and is more adhesive than the Matte vinyl.
